Lee Gordon
(Registered Physiotherapist)
Lee graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BSc in Kinesiology in 2004. She then completed her MSc in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2007. Lee is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
After graduating in 2007, Lee worked in a local hospital in both inpatient and outpatient areas. Her practice was predominately in outpatient neurorehabilitation (stroke, brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease) and rehabilitation with individuals with lower limb amputations. Lee began practicing physiotherapy at Lake Country Physiotherapy in January 2016. Her practice consists of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Neurorehabilitation and Homecare.
At a post-graduate level, Lee has completed training in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation and has focused her continuing education in this area to assist individuals in achieving their best quality of life. She is also Bone Fit trained; this program created by Osteoporosis Canada enables healthcare professionals to teach safe activity and exercise to those with osteoporosis. Lee now has over eight years of experience providing in-home physiotherapy in the community of Orillia and beyond – she continues to see great benefit to working with people in their own environment at various stages in their rehabilitation/recovery. Within all patient populations that she treats, she uses a trauma-informed approach and a biopsychosocial lens to help patients achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Lee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, CrossFit, running, yoga, travelling, and being on the water.
